Between 2011 – 17 Louise lost two husbands, her grandmother, mother and daughter.
This series of events could have pushed Louise into a dark corner, but she fought back. She knew she was still young enough that life had more to offer, and her tenacious fighting spirit came to the fore. And in 2017 she found love again with Brian, who makes her laugh and keeps her grounded. The Men in Her Life
Louise claims, when you’ve only had good men, you know what you are looking for when you need another one. Having wonderful relationships also enabled her to become the Maverick Sage Grandmother she is now! She is in a unique position to have learned from them all, and now she is sharing her life skills to help you, any way she can, to enjoy your life.

Almost 15 years older, he nurtured her skills and lifted her into his world of Apex, volunteering and construction. She was his secretary and trades assistant, and mother of six… Cancer took him the year they were to retire and sell up to go nomad.
John
A Kiwi warrior, came into her life when she was alone, working hard and still winning awards. Here, they are in a limo, when she won a National Small Business Award.
They were together for 18 months. Cancer took him just a year after they married.
Louise kept working and failed to give herself time to grieve.
Brian
A truck driver who worked for one of Louise’s sons, she had known him for 5 years.
Her son had been trying to put them together and when the time was right, they had a coffee and love bloomed again.Brian is the pure Ozzy. Carnivorous, beer drinking, smoking man!!! A physical worker, and the perfect companion who has put the smile back on Louise’s face.
