How Deeply Are You Connected to the Sun? The Answer Might Surprise You

How Deeply Are You Connected to the Sun? The Answer Might Surprise You.
The sun appears in the sky most days, unless you live in the polar regions, and we take it for granted. We listen to the media ‘slip slop slap’ to protect ourselves from it, and we do our very best to stay out of the direct sunlight.
But is this the way we should be treating what could be considered – the greatest asset in our galaxy?
“The sun rises for all, but not all see its light.” – Apollo
The sun is more than a ball of fiery light in the sky, it brings life, supports wellness and can be overdone!
The Rays of the sun
The rays of the sun are part of the electromagnetic spectrum and include gamma rays, X-rays, ultraviolet (UV) radiation, visible light, infrared radiation, and radio waves. These are also known as solar radiation. Visible light is the part of the spectrum that humans can see, while the others are invisible to the human eye. Some animals see a different range of the same frequencies.
The impact of those rays on plants, animals and water are enormous. Different rays cause different effects on our skin, through our eyes and on the plants and animals. You probably just take all this for granted, however if the suns rays are blocked or reduced for prolonged periods of time, the impact on us all could be devastating!
How much sunlight do you need?
We are kept out of the sun from childhood and by protecting skin it becomes vulnerable to sun exposure. If you are not into joining a nudist colony, then find a discrete location (and a body guard) and expose ALL thy self, for a few minutes each day (no more than 20 minutes is enough). The results will give you your daily dose of Vitamin D & A and help keep you weller.
Don’t believe me – keep reading – this is what we are not being told!!!
A little sunlight every day goes a very long way.
The Sun is Our Natural Source of Vitamin D, and it’s an Essential Element for Natural Wellness.
Vitamin D is a group of vitamins, some natural and some synthetic.
Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is produced in the skin when exposed to sunlight, and is found in certain foods (eggs, mushrooms, some fish, mostly from animals).
Vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) is passed off as a supplement however it is listed as a drug, or it comes from plants.
When it is metabolized through the skin it becomes calciferol the active form.
Two synthetic forms referred to as analogs of Vitamin D are:
Alfacalcidol and Paricalcitol also used as a medication.
How the sun triggers the production of Vitamin D3 in the skin naturally
The sun’s UVB rays are the primary driver of vitamin D calciferol production. These rays penetrate the skin and interact with 7-dehydrocholesterol (7-DHC), a precursor molecule found in the outer layer of skin.
7-DHC is a precursor for cholesterol, a vital compound for cell membranes, steroid hormone synthesis, and bile acid production (low acid is linked to gut health). NOTE: cholesterol is not the evil we have been told it is! More on this in another Article in the future.
“10% of your genes are greatly influenced by Vitamin D. Blood tests only show inactive Vitamin D, they are not showing you what’s happening in the cells.” -Dr Eric Berb DC
Why aren’t you seeing this information in the media? Because Vitamin D competes with the top selling drugs!
The 7-DHC processes in the body manage the balance of several systems. Let’s explore them.
It reduces inflammation in the muscle tissue
Vitamin D has been shown to suppress or reduce the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, which are signaling molecules that promote inflammation. Conversely, vitamin D can increase the production of anti-inflammatory cytokines, which help to dampen the inflammatory response.
In simple English: vitamin D3 keeps your muscle tissue in top shape and performing well.
It is essential for the natural growth of bones and teeth and protects older people from bone weakening
Vitamin D also stimulates osteoclast differentiation, which are cells that break down old bone tissue, allowing for bone remodeling and repair. Your entire body is constantly repairing and replacing cells and you are rebuilt every couple of months. This is what allows your body to stay well and self heal.
In simple English: Without Vitamin D, bone is not able to self-repair. Teeth also self repair but that’s a whole other topic.
Regulates the absorption of calcium and phosphorous in natural immune system function
Vitamin D, specifically its active form calcitriol, stimulates the small intestine to absorb more calcium and phosphorus from food. This process is facilitated by vitamin D receptors in the intestinal cells, which bind to calcitriol and trigger proteins involved in calcium and phosphorus transportation.
Vitamin D helps maintain appropriate levels of calcium and phosphorus in the blood, which are essential for various bodily functions, including muscle contraction, nerve transmission, and bone mineralization.
In simple English: Vitamin D3 is an essential element in the body required to activate normal functions within the body to keep it well.
Some of those other functions are:
Keeping your Vitamin D3 levels up overcomes weaknesses or imbalances that present as the following symptoms:
Head sweats, night sweats (caused by an imbalance in the autonomic nervous system), mood swings (a deficiency causes the cortisol to rise out of balance), procrastination (the neucleus accumbens runs on dopamone and a deficiency lowers dopamine), panic attacks (the amygdala needs enough vitamin D3 to self regulate), body aches and loss of strength (is linked to calcium loss, due to not enough vitamin D3 in the system), stiffness in the joints (vitamin D3 is required to maintain cartilage, ligaments, tendons, and joints in general), chronic fatigue (Vitamin D3 supports mitocondria for energy production – low D3 enables the epstein bar virus to activate), slows thinking (Vitamin D3 is essential for neuron health – hence communication), always hungry (low vitamin D3 reduces leptin function which tells the brain when you’re full).
In simple English: Vitamin D3 is essential to maintaining the body in homeostasis – naturally well. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, start with a daily dose of sunshine and a serve of eggs for breakfast.
As you can see, Vitamin D3 is far more important than we have been told, and by isolating and protecting ourselves from the sun, we are causing our own state of unwellness.

How is synthetic Vitamin D made?
This is the reason you want to stay away from synthetic vitamin D.
Synthetic Vitamin D is produced by irradiating 7-dehydrocholesterol, extracted from lanolin in sheep’s wool, with ultraviolet (UV) light. This process, which is similar to how the body naturally produces vitamin D, involves several steps of refining, solvent washing, and chromatography before the final UV irradiation. The resulting product is then further processed to isolate and refine the vitamin D.
We are not told what solvents are used, or what refining actually means. I hate to even imagine putting this in my body.
Look for a natural supplement if you are going to attempt to raise your levels. Dr Eric Berg recommends 10,000 to 20,000 IU per day is the equivalent to 20 minutes in the sun.
What stops Vitamin D from being absorbed?
So, you are spending time in the sun, but you are still feeling the deficiency symptoms. What else may be going wrong?
Certain medications, including orlistat (used for weight loss) and statins (used to lower cholesterol), can interfere with vitamin D absorption.
Older adults may have lower levels of the precursor to vitamin D in their skin and may spend more time indoors, impacting production and absorption.
Vitamin D can be stored in fat cells of obese individuals, potentially making less available for other body functions.
Are you wearing a toxic sunscreen (see below) that is intentionally blocking the sun?
Are you wearing synthetic UV blocking fabric? Did you know you are not only missing out on your dose of vitamin D3, you are also enabling the plastic from the fabric, directly against your skin, to be absorbed into your hormone system as an Endocrine Disruptor. Let’s look at that in another article later.
What exactly is sunburn
Sunburn happens when UVB rays damage the skin. Most often when you are out in the sun during the middle of the day. Not such a great idea. The best times to be out in the sun are sunrise and sunset.
Sunburn also affects different skin colours and types in different ways. The more sensitive your skin is, the more important it is for you to manage your time in the sun.
When you are out in the sun, don’t leave home without your bottle of Kangen Water.
Sunscreen reduces the amount of sunlight necessary for Vitamin D production
Sunscreen may prevent or minimize sunburn, however there are far more sensible way to do this; by only going out in the sun in the mornings or late afternoons; by wearing a hat or staying in the shade. It’s not difficult to stay out of the sun when the UV rays are most intense and most weather apps show you the UV ratings.
One more thing about sunscreen: It’s toxic: Oxybenzone, octinoxate, and homosalate are commonly used chemical sunscreens, and they have been linked to hormone disruption, reproductive issues, and allergic reactions. Additionally, octocrylene can break down into benzophenone, a possible human carcinogen.
If you must use a sunscreen, go back to the old fashioned white zinc!
UV resistant fabric prevents sunlight from reaching the skin and its toxic
Most UV resistant fabrics are made from synthetic man made fibre, from petrochemicals. They may block the sun, but placing the ‘plastic’ fabric against the skin causes endocrine-disrupting chemicals in plastics, that are harmful to human health, to not only block Vitamin D but cause the hormone systems disruption.
One More Silent Beneficial Element from the Sun – Vitamin A – Retinol
The suns rays also enter the body through the eyes and the light triggers a process called the retinoid cycle, which involves the conversion of vitamin A, specifically 11-cis-retinal, to all-trans-retinal and then back to 11-cis-retinal, a process essential for vision.
Retinol is a form of vitamin A that can be converted into retinal, which is a key component of visual pigments in the eye.
But wait, there’s more…
Vitamin A plays a crucial role in vision, immune function, cell growth, and reproduction. It also helps maintain healthy skin and mucous membranes, and supports the development and function of various organs, including the heart, lungs, and eyes.
Don’t be mislead by google insights on retinal. The word is now being used widely in cosmetic terms. This retinal or retinol is NOT natural Vitamin A in relation to sunlight.
Wearing sunglasses all the time may reduce your intake of Vitamin A – retinol.
Walking in the morning without glasses is a wonderful way to take in a daily dose of vitamins D3 and A.
In summary
We need sunlight for natural wellness. Not too much, but some, at the right time of the day, without sunscreen or toxic fabrics, and without glasses on.
Our medical science system of peer reviewed science has be sold out and it can no longer be trusted to tell us what is best for us. Now, more than ever, we must do our own research and discover what is beneficial and what is not. The only way to do this today is to ask google the right questions and they must be very specific.
Those who are financed to manipulate the articles that come up on google searches, are well trained in how to know what questions you will ask, and to ensure the answers they want you to find are the ones that come up in your first page of answers.
This is not science, this is manipulation of the truth. Sadly, not enough people today are trained in how to research past the first google response. Lies are being put forward as truth, and our uneducated population of internet users are accepting the first answer provided, and this is how more confusion is being generated.
We are also being distracted from the reality of our failing medical system, the one that has been taken over by big pHARMa and it profits from telling you to stay out of the sunlight, wear their toxic sunscreen, wearing synthetic UV blocking fabrics, and wearing trendy sunglasses while outdoors.
I covered many of these topics in my book – Why Would You!?
